1. Seller

2. Scope
These terms govern the online sale of the digital edition of Compare Robots Magazine to consumers and businesses: single issues and the yearly digital subscription. The French version prevails.
3. Products
A purchased issue gives unlimited access to its French and English editions: online reading on compare-robots.fr and PDF download for personal use.
The yearly subscription gives access, while active, to every published issue, including back issues.
4. Prices
Prices are in euros, all taxes included. The price that applies is the one shown when ordering.
5. Order and payment
Orders are placed from a Compare Robots account. Payment is processed by Stripe; Compare Robots never sees card details. An invoice is issued for every payment.
6. Access and right of withdrawal
Access opens as soon as payment is confirmed. Under article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the consumer expressly requests immediate performance and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal once access starts, by ticking the box provided at checkout.
7. Subscription: term, renewal, cancellation
The subscription runs for one year and renews automatically for the same term. It can be cancelled at any time from the library ("Manage"); cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and access stays open until then.
Under article L215-1 of the French Consumer Code, consumers are notified by e-mail, no earlier than three months and no later than one month before renewal, that they may choose not to renew.
8. Intellectual property
Magazine content is protected and for the buyer's personal use only; sharing, reselling or making it available to others, including the PDF, is forbidden.
9. Personal data
Data needed for the order is processed under the site's privacy policy.
10. Mediation and disputes
Consumers first send a written complaint through the Contact page of the site. If no solution is found, they may refer the dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator; the mediator is being appointed and its details will be published on this page. These terms are governed by French law.
